In March, Madlib said he was working on finishing up the posthumous collaboration, a project that has the approval from Miller’s estate. The DJ also played an unreleased single with the late Mac Miller entitled “Nosy Neighbour.” Madlib shared that the track will appear on the long-awaited Maclib mixtape. Among them was a song called “John Gotti Karate” from Montana, the third collaborative album between Madlib and Freddie Gibbs, set to release as the final installment in their trilogy. At a recent show in Sydney, Australia, Madlib played a few tracks for the audience that never quite made it to streaming platforms.
